Happy New Year!

While MPs battle back to work tomorrow, the House of Lords aren't back for another week. That means it's a pretty light week for laws in Parliament.  The highlight of the week will almost certainly be PMQs. don't forget you can follow all the action from 12 on Wednesday on twitter @easypoliticsuk.

Housing and Planning Bill
The first debate this year is about housing.

This will allow housing association tenants to buy their home - and ensure that when they do, the housing association builds another.

There are other measures to get more houses built on 'brown field' sites too.
