Welfare Reform and Work Bill


The benefits cap and freeze will save £££. It means:
  • Lower limits on what can be claimed in benefits
  • Job Seekers Allowance, Child Benefits frozen
  • A family can only claim benefits for 2 children

Cities & Local Government Devolution Bill


This creates local mayors. Manchester is the first city in line to try this out.

The House of Lords also added that 16 /17 year olds should have the vote in local election. The government will now try to take this out again!

EU Referendum Bill


Entering its very final stage is the Bill that will give us a referendum on whether to leave or remain in the EU.
