EU? What EU?

OK, fine. It dominates news and all the gossip is about who is in and out. The Commons are not discussing much. Even the Queen's Speech has now been delayed until after Big Vote. Oh, and our infographic this week is also the first part of our attempt to demystify the EU. Laws are still going through, though. And they matter. They will make just as big a difference to people's lives as they did before Big Vote was announced. Here's our pick of next week's action.

Immigration Bill

However, critics argue that this will do nothing to bring down overall immigration numbers.

Housing and Planning Bill

This will extend the right-to-buy to housing association tenants and create more ‘starter homes’ at a 20% discount for first-time buyers.
Critics say these starter homes will still be unaffordable for most people.

Enterprise Bill

This will make life easier for small businesses, allowing them to settle disputes without going to court and ensuring that they pay the correct Business Rates.

The remaining stages for this Bill are being carried out next week - it'll soon become law.
